End of the Road Ranch is looking for caring foster families to pre-qualify as a foster home for current and/or future rescue horses. EOTRR has a limited amount of space for its rescues and foster families are an integral part of its ability to continue helping these animals.
Fostering a horse means that you will assume physical and financial responsibility for the daily care of one or more EOTRR residents without the permanent commitment of ownership. Each horse in Foster Care will allow EOTRR to take in another equine in need.
All horses in the EOTRR Foster Care program will be pasture-sound and carefully selected for temperament as well as their natural desire to bond with their caretakers. We will work with you directly to choose a horse that fits your lifestyle and property.
By joining our program, you will revel in the knowledge that you are providing a wonderful life for a deserving animal that otherwise might have faced a grim fate, and you’re also helping the EOTRR assist other needy horses.
Most horses are happiest and healthiest when they are turned out all day with free access to a sturdy, roofed, 3-sided shelter, and a companion. We ask that you provide this during Foster Care. The EOTRR will provide a written acknowledgment of the expenses incurred on behalf of the EOTRR for tax deduction purposes.
We firmly believe that every horse deserves the comfort of a home where he is special to someone. If you are willing to help make this a reality for a horse in need, please contact us at 575-313-5714.
